The concept of soulmates has always intrigued me. The idea that there is one person in this vast world who complements you perfectly, who understands your deepest fears and desires, who can finish your thoughts before you even speak them. I find it hard to believe the concept of a soulmate being a real thing in this disconnected world filled with loneliness. The idea of a soulmate seems like a coping mechanism to me, the idea that every single human being on this planet has a person made solely for them. If soulmates were real, there would be no loneliness or solitude, you could bring up the argument of not all soulmates are ment to meet, but doesn't that just contradict soulmates as a whole? A person made perfectly to fit you like a puzzle piece that you never meet?
