Aphex Twin

To start this off, I absolutely love aphex twin, especially his "Selected Ambient Works 85-92" album. One of my favorite songs from it is xtal, yes I know it's a very popular song but I love it.

Aphex twin also known as Richard D James was born in limerick Ireland. He showed a interest in music and electrics early on apparently manipulating cassette tapes and building his onw synths during his teenage years, he studied at Cornwall College in engineering but later diverted his full attention to music.

His Cornish upbringing later influenced his music both thematically and in titling, with references to local geography appearing across his discography.

My Thoughts on Music

Music is like life support to me, without it i'd die. Music has helped me through situations I struggled immensly with, things such as depression, suicidal thought, addiction upon many others.

I find it facinating how music can control your mood, mental health, and workflow. Genre's like R&B can make you happy and relaxed, jazz can make you feel at home and comfortable even if you're at a resteraunt, House music makes you feel energized and make you feel in the moment. Music can really depict a persons life depending on what they listen to.
